Life drawing Dump

So i am preparing for a life drawing portfolio tomorrow and I thought I would share with the world some of the stuff thats in there.

Of course there are gestures, but more recently we have been doing facial gestures.
There is also some blind contours, Model drawings in watercolour and ink and Box drawings.
Here I shall only show you the faces, model drawings and blind contours... as they are the only things i kind of like doing and like to think Im not too shabby at them either 8D

All our exercises come from a bloke named Nicolaides who wrote a book called 'The natural way to Draw' Its reccomended for any art student...

O-M-GEEEE!!!
I'm sorry its taken me this long to realise you found my blog, ahaha I fail.

Anyways your life drawing is gorrrgeous, I love the contour stuff especially, the lines seem really confident and flow-y
arg the art-vocab isn't plugged in.. but i approve lots
are you still miles and miles away in Canada? Your course seems really intense but also really helpful - you seem to be getting actual lessons in actual techniques whereas I am told to 'do whatever' which is frustratingly vague.
enough rambling
*glomp*

Yup still in canada... i tried to make a comment on your blog but for some reason wouldnt let me sign in... so you either got no messages or like...5 of the same thing lol.

The course is really intense, really to the point what they want you to do and all about methods and techniques and why you do such things. I love it ! lol but the first year was pretty uncreative because of it :( but second year we have a lot more free roam.

hehe and plus you don't need techniques you artwork is always awesome!! You know if you have not been told already yu should totally pick up the book by Nicolaides ''The Natural way to draw'' its like our life drawing bible, everything we do in at least 2 of our classes is straight from that book :3
